Der Kongress eHealth Europe am 24. und 25. Mai in Freiburg: Wo stehen Digitale Technologien in der Gesundheitsversorgung?

Bei eHealth Europe, der um eine Industriemesse erweiterten Fortsetzung des erfolgreichen eHealth Forum Freiburg mit den Schwerpunkten Forschung, IT, Entwicklung, Krankenhäuser, Start-ups in der Messe Freiburg wird ein Ärztekongress Neuentwicklungen rund um die digitale Welt in der Medizin vorstellen.
Wir freuen uns im nunmehr 9. Jahr auf zahlreichen Besucher und Aussteller aus dem Gesundheitswesen und der Gesundheitsindustrie aus Deutschland, der Schweiz und Frankreich, die sich zwei Tage lang über digitale Technologien im Gesundheitswesen informieren können.

Dass der digitale Wandel tiefgreifend ist, beleuchtet bei der Eröffnung Herr Manfred Lucha, Minister für Soziales und Integration. Die Begrüßung an der Ärztefortbildung übernimmt Herr Prof. Wenz, der als Leitender Ärztlicher Direktor im Uniklinikum Freiburg den Bereich Digitalisierung fest im Blick hat.

Was ist Künstliche Intelligenz (KI), wo ist sie im Medizinbereich bereits im Einsatz? Darüber gibt das Deutsche Forschungszentrum für KI einen Einblick. Den Einsatz von KI in der Neurologie und Neurochirurgie erklärt Dr. Tonio Ball der Universität Freiburg. Und wie Pflegerobotik im Alltag pflegebedürftiger Menschen assistieren kann zeigt Herr Früh aus der Schweiz.
Herr Prof. Alscher vom Verein Digitale Gesundheit BW spricht darüber, wie Digitalisierung Inhalte und Anwendung von Leitlinien verändert. Vorgestellt wird z.B. auch ein Europaweit bereits im Einsatz befindliches telemedizinisches System zur Überwachung von Patienten mit Herzerkrankungen.

Wie steht es mit digitalen Lösungen in der medizinischen Versorgung? Ein besonderes Highlight als Keynote der Abendveranstaltung von Peter Albiez, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung Pfizer Deutschland GmbH.

MedTech Radar Live 2019 @ Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz

The German Medical Technology Association (BVMed), venture capitalist Earlybird, insurer BARMER, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), NRW.Bank and the medical technology magazine Medtech Zwo are organizing the second medtech start-up pitch. The pitch is part of the “MedTech Radar Live 2019” conference, which takes place on 5th June 2019 in Berlin and brings young med-tech founders together with representatives of the medical technology industry and potential investors. Industry representatives will discuss the challenges of developing new medical technology solutions, innovations through start-ups and new cooperation models in healthcare. The conference organizers expect around 150 participants.

Start-ups or smaller medtech companies with disruptive and innovative business ideas in health-tech are invited to apply for the “Start-up Pitch” until 17th April 2019 at www.medtechradar.live. The focus is on business ideas dealing with digital health, health services, physical therapies, health care or big data in the medical sector.

Ship for Health Innovation Pitches (SHIP) @ Königin Silvia

The SHIP (Ship for Health Innovation Pitches) is an exclusive event for EIT Health Germany partners and friends to hear about the newest healthcare innovations developed by German, Swiss & Austrian start-ups.
BioTech, MedTech and DigitalHealth start-ups are invited to pitch their innovative products and services in front of an expert jury and the EIT Health Germany partnership.
In 2019’s SHIP edition, 12 teams are competing for one of the few places for EIT Health Germany’s 2019 Head Start Funding Awards, which support start-ups/SMEs in realising their next steps towards the market and shorten the time-to-market for their innovative products and services. 6 already pre-selected and pre-qualified Start-ups teams will showcase their product inventions and join the semifinals of the European Health Catapult, a collaboration between EIT Health and HealthAxis Europe.
